Madcon – Die neue Single „Glow“: Der „Eurodance Flashmob“

Am 29. Mai 2010 tanzten diesen Tanz mehrere Millionen Europäer gleichzeitig. Natürlich sind sie nicht alle von ihren Sofas im heimischen Wohnzimmer aufgestanden. Partywillige gibt es aber immer und überall und so feierte ganz Oslo und Norwegen und mit ihnen viele Millionen anderer Menschen auf dem ganzen Kontinent.

Die Musik zum "Eurodance Flashmob" kommt dabei vom norwegischen HipHop-Duo Madcon. Und eigentlich hat der Song alles, was ein guter Sommerhit braucht…und eigentlich passt der Track auch ganz gut zur WM, vielleicht verbindet man ja den "Eurodance" und die "WM" 😉
Das man mit diesem Lied Leute zum Tanzen bringen kann, haben Madcon ja beim "Eurovision Song Contest" eindrucksvoll unter Beweis gestellt.

Bekannt wurden Tshawe Baqwa und Yosef Wolde-Mariam im Jahre 2008 mit ihrer Single "Beggin’", die sich ebenfalls europaweit zum Hit entwickelte. Dabei ist der Song eigentlich ein Cover der Band "Four Seasons" aus dem Jahre 1967, aber auch mehr als 40 Jahre danach, konnte er die Leute überzeugen.
Zwei Jahre hat sich das Duo nach dem überwältigenden Erfolg von "Beggin’" Ruhe gegönnt, um sodann beim "Eurovision Song Contest" ein lupenreines "Comeback" hinzulegen.

Die neue Single "Glow" ist die erste Single aus ihrem kommenden Album "Contraband", das in Kürze erscheinen soll. In Deutschland steht die Single seit dem 11. Juni im Handel. Als Download ist der Song aber schon länger verfügbar und setzt sich ab in die Topregionen der Downloadcharts.
