Die niederländische Newcomerin Caro Emerald startete in ihrem Heimatland schon im letzten Sommer durch. Es hat gedauert, aber seit einigen Wochen ist die ausgebildete Sängerin aus Amsterdam auch in Deutschland angekommen. Ihre Single "A Night Like This" hält sich derzeit seit mehreren Wochen in den Top 10 der deutschen Charts. Nun lässt man einen Nachfolger erscheinen…
"Stuck" ist die neue Single aus dem Debütalbum "Deleted Scenes From The Cutting Floor", die allerdings erst Anfang September erscheinen soll. Caro Emerald hat Verve, Charme, Sinnlichkeit und einer Stimme, die jeden Nachtclub in Ekstase versetzt, hat die junge holländische Interpretin eine Welle der Begeisterung ausgelöst, die alle Altersgruppen erfasst. Ihr faszinierender Retrostil zwischen Jazz, Swing, Chansons und südamerikanischen Rhythmen, die mit modernen Beats und Bässen unterlegt sind, ist derzeit dabei auch den Rest Europas zu erobern.
Ab Herbst geht Emerald auch auf Tournee durch Deutschland und veröffentlicht passend zum Tourneestart dann auch ein sensationelles Live-Album, das während der Konzerte mit ihrer achtköpfigen band aufgenommen wurde.
