Die dreiköpfige Punkrock-Band Itchy Poopzkid wurde im Jahr 2000 in Eislingen unter dem Namen Nutella gegründet. Zunächst spielten sie zu viert als Schülerband und coverten unter anderem Songs von Metallica. 2001 änderten sie ihren Namen zu Itchy Poopzkid und begannen, eigene Songs zu schreiben.
Die Band bestand ab 2001 nur noch aus drei Mitgliedern: Sibbi (Sebastian Hafner), Panzer (Daniel Friedl) und Sailor (Tobias Danne). Es folgten Auftritte als Vorband von Yellowcard, Donots, Bouncing Souls und Boy Sets Fire. 2007 Begleiteten sie Sum 41, die Punkband aus Kanada auf ihrer Deutschland-Tour.
Itchy Poopzkid traten 2007 bei MTVs Band Trip auf und gewannen. Das dritte Album „Dead Serious“ erschien am 23. Januar 2009. Daraufhin tourte das Trio im Frühjahr 2009 mit der „Dead Serious Tour“ durch Deutschland, Österreich und der Schweiz. Im Herbst ging es dann durch England, und ab November 2009 findet die zweite „Dead Serious Tour“ durch Deutschland statt!
