Nach dem Erfolg ihrer Debütsingle "Apologize" änderte sich für One Republic und vor allem für ihren Songwriter Ryan Tedder einfach alles. Mit nur einer Single schafften sie sofort den Sprung an die Weltspitze und ihr Sänger, Frontmann und Songschreiber mauserte sich zugleich zu einem der besten und vor allem kommerziell erfolgreichsten Songwriter der Welt…
…Ryan Tedder zeichnet nicht nur für die One Republic-Hits verantwortlich, sondern schrieb beispielsweise Leona Lewis ihr "Run" und "Bleeding Love" auf den Leib, Beyonce ihr "Halo" oder auch für Kelly Clarkson und viele weitere. Aus dem Songwriter-Genre ist Tedder klaum noch wegzudenken, auf einer Stufe mit Erfolgsproduzent und Songwriter Max Martin (u.a. Pink).
Mit "Good Life" schicken Ryan Tedder und seine Band aber endlich mal wieder ein Lied in eigener Sache an den Start. Eigentlich sollte die neue Single "Good Life" als dritte Single schon im Juni veröffentlicht werden. In Deutschland aber wurde der Song "Marchin‘ On" feat. Timbaland im Rahmen der Fußball-WM genutzt und erschien daher als dritte Single. Der Release der neuen Single "Good Life" wurde daraufhin verschoben.
Nun kann man endlich zugreifen. Die Single steht als Silberling ab November in den Läden, ist als Download aber schon jetzt via Amazon MP3 beziehbar.
