Yeah, deshlab, weil Rise Against einerseits die Band sind, die mich in diesem Jahr 2011 am deutlichsten beeinflusst haben und deren Platte mich am meisten "geflasht" hat. Und "yeah", weil sie nun mit "Satellite" nun endlich meinen absoluten Lieblingssong des neuen Albums "Endgame" als Single raushauen.
Nach "Help Is On The Way" und "Make It Stop (September's Children)" handelt es sich hierbei nun um dier dritte Auskopplung des Albums "Endgame" mit dem, zum Leidwesen vieler Fans der ersten Stunde, diese großartige Band mehr oder weniger im Mainstream angekommen ist. Immerhin stiegen sie mit dem Album direkt auf Platz 1 der deutschen Album-Charts ein.
Passend zum Release der neuen Single gibt es dazu natürlich nun auch ein neues Video. Die Band postete zu dem Video eine Nachricht an die Fans: "Wir haben unser neues Video für den Song 'Satellite' fertig gestellt und können es kaum abwarten, ihn Euch zu zeigen, denn er ist über Euch, unsere unglaublichen Fans! Sobald wir damit anfingen, den Song in diesem Jahr live zu spielen, war es unfassbar toll zu sehen, wie das Publikum reagiert, lebendig wird und durchdreht. Also haben wir gedacht, dass dieses Video genau so sein sollte – pur und einfach. Wir konnten nicht jeden Einzelnen von Euch filmen, aber wir haben ein Kamerateam dabei gehabt, das versucht hat, einige Shows der letzten Tour mitzufilmen. (Danke, dass Ihr unseren Kameramann im Pit nicht getötet habt). Danke an alle, die dabei waren. Ihr seid die Größten!"
