Nachdem er sich unfreiwillig einer Knieoperation unterziehen musste, legte Sean Paul erst einmal eine Bühnenpause ein, wagte aber trotzdem den Weg ins Studio, um seine kostbare Zeit nicht sinnlos zu verplempern. Dort arbeitete er an seinem neuen Album „Tomahawk Technique“, das ab dem 10. Februar in den Läden stehen soll.
Als erste Single erschien davon kürzlich der Song „Got 2 Luv U“ mit dem Sean Paul auch die deutschen Chartsentern konnte. Nun folgt als zweiter Streich die neue Single „She Doesn’t Mind“ auf der Sean Paul sangestechnisch ganz neue Klänge hören lässt. Im Gegensetz zu seinen vorherigen Platten bzw. Songs, wagt es der Jamaikaner nun nämlich auch endlich mal zu singen und das kann sich wirklich hören lassen.
Neben seinen eigenen Gesangskünsten vertraut Sean Paul Ryan Francis Henriques, wie der Mann gebürtig heisst, auch auf die Fähigkeiten von Kelly Rowland und Alexis Jordan, die jeweils auf Singles von Sean Paul zu hören sind.
