The Kooks – Die neue Single „Is It Me“ inkl. Video und Songtext

Nach ihrem Debütalbum "Inside In/ Inside Out" und der Platte "Konk" aus dem Jahre 2008 erschien im Sommer ihr drittes Album "Junk Of Heart" unds zeitgleich die erste Single, die auch Titelsong des Albums war. Nun schicken The Kooks nach dem ersten Ohrwurm ihre zweite Single an den Start. "Is It Me" heisst die Single, die direkt an den Vorgänger anknüpft. The Kooks präsentieren sich auf ihrem dritten Album deutlich reifer, auch wenn die neue Single soundtechnisch an die alten Alben erinnert.

Kennengelernt haben sich die Jungs während ihres Musikstudiums, das sicherlich nicht ganz unschuldig an dem Gefühl für Ohrwürmer ist. Eigentlich sollte "Is It Me" die erste Single des Albums werden, die dann jedoch (aus welchen Gründen auch immer) dem Titeltrack "Junk Of The Heart" weichen musste.
Das passende Video dazu ist bei YouTube schon lange vor Album-Release an den Start gegangen.
